Friends invited me to join them for Sunday Brunch, called Sunday Dinner at Canal House, and I'm glad they did. It was a very good meal and the service was excellent. Seating options indoors, outdoors on patio, or a limited number of tables on an outside balcony, which is where we ate. In the photos you'll see the Sunday Dinner menu and each of the courses with exception of the Chevre Croustades, which I forgot to photograph as I was too busy eating them! The menu is fixed price and while I'm told there are sometimes options for the main, today's menu and courses were as shown. All the courses were very good, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the service was spot on. When dishes were brought to the table, two or three wait staff assured everyone was served at exactly the same time. The team approach to servicing the table is something I always appreciate.

What can I say? This place has blown us away not once, but twice! The food here is excellent quality, and it's clear they take their craft seriously. The atmosphere and their attention to details are so unique; they add a special touch to the whole experience. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff—they're super dedicated and make you feel right at home. We're already thinking about when we can make the trip from NYC again!

The ambiance, the food, the people- Everything was just perfect! The food is incredibly comforting at a high level of execution. One of the best duck preparations we have ever had and a dessert with a surprise inside (ahhh I didn’t take a picture). There is one small minus, I wish this place would of been closer but is definitely worth the trip from NYC!
